New walk from Golitha Falls to Trethevy Quoit

This is a 6 mile circular walk starting from the Golitha Falls car park. View Walk The path though Golitha Falls itself is one-way so you can either visit the falls at the beginning or the end of main route. It's a highly recommended detour particularly when the bluebells are out and for the Autumn colours. From Draynes Bridge, the route follows a winding path across the Bulland Downs to King Doniert's Stone. This section is currently very boggy, so waterproof boots are essential unless you're going to wait until the Summer. The route continues along footpaths and tracks to reach St Cleer, beside the Holy Well which is reputed to cure madness, but doesn't seem to have deterred us from mapping out some new routes in the pouring rain, so draw your own conclusions. From St Cleer, some small lanes and a bridleway lead to Trethevy Quoit, which looks even more impressive in the low winter light. From here the route cuts back through the centre of St Cleer past the
